Unwilling to sacrifice on high style, Steve & Filip Design was tapped to level up the luxe. Jumping in mid build with Environs Development had its perks: custom stone and tile finishes, designer light fixtures, and a floor plan that doesn’t quit. As for the furnishings and decor, fashion-forward was the mindset — but pulled back just enough to transcend the trends. A pretty powder room with an iceberg quartzite sink that’s lit from within? Check. Wall coverings reminiscent of Hermès scarves? But of course. From artwork consulting down to decisions on the formal china pattern and stationary cards, we appointed the whole house from end to end, including a collab with Chicago Specialty Gardens for a roof deck of epic proportions.
